How to talk anyone, anytime, anywhere

It is already 3 years ago that I read this book for the first time in my life. One of my classes has a group project which is a "book review". During the semester, each group must finish one book what they choose and need to write down their opinions and do a presentation about the book. This book is written by one of famous talk show host and communicator "Larry King".He wrote his own stories in his book, and his advices are really helpful for me. Before going abroad for studying English, i just finished reading this book and while I am staying in Vancouver, my personality is totally changed. If someone who has a hard time to present yourself in front of hundreds of people, I really recommend this book and hope to be helpful to overcome fear to have a presentation.

- Eight things the best talkers have in common

1. Looking at things from new angle

--  Taking unexpected points of view on familiar subjects.

2. Have broad horizons

- Listening the people around you and continues that practice to this day

3. Be enthusiastic

- Draw on that enthusiasm on your conversation

4. Don't talk about yourself

- Turn the conversation around

5. Be curious

-  Always be curious! It makes good listener and broad horizons

6. Be emphasize

- Clear what you are feeling as well as you are saying

7. Have a sense of humor

- Whatever your style of humor is, let it come into the conversation naturally

8. Have your own style of talking

- Find a way of talking you are comfortable with, and develop that.

In addition, there is one more idea about "Zip your mouth (KEEP SILENCE)". No matter how brilliant a speaker you are, there are times when it's better to remain silent. Most of all, I impressed "have your own style of talking', because i don't have my own talk style and it is really hard to find it!
