People who love learning languages!

https://www.duolingo.com I highly recommend this website for learning your second/third languages! If you are not really novice for learning some languages(I mean, if you have a tiny knowledge about your interest language), it could be helpful to memorize or know some phrases! I just started French and Spanish through this website!

JOB INTERVIEW review

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxOJ72pvUhGSWmVvYTh6X052ZEU&authuser=0 1. Tell my about yourself I already arranged what I wanted to mention, but as I started the interview, I forgot everything. Also if I want to apply for international company, I need to do eye-contact well. Even though it is a online-interview,  nobody makes sure whether I will have an interview via Internet or not. So I need to find a way to look at the monitor well. What is more, I have too much pause with unnecessary sound "uh..." and looking at the sky. It seems that I am not confident person. So I need to practice in front of mirror (checking my body language, and eye contact, ...) 2. Why marketing area? Whenever I am watching a video, I realize that I love to use "at that time".  Also, I can see that I am really nervous as I murmured a lot and broke the grammar structure, tenses. I need to arrange the idea well. 4. Advantages & Disadvantages In these points, I mentioned wha

3rd SHELF PROJECT!

We really considered what can we do for our last SHELF Project.  As all of the active people are in our group, we try to do really creative and experimental project! So we did a cooking show! Showing the process of making a cake, and recording all what we did. After finishing to decorate the cake, we made a short review for this class and say thanks to Jeff! Are you learning and/or practicing English in a meaningful way? - We try to use English when we explain what we are doing and how to make the cake! when we just ate decoration cream, it was quite difficult to explain the word for taste like oily. After finding the synonym of oily, we learned greasy as same meaning. Are you pushing yourself?  Stretching your skills? - First of all, like job interview, we usually practice really formal English. So I wanted to practice English while doing the usual conversation, and we use English all the time for communicating each other. At least, I felt that nobody had difficult

Panel Discussion topic!

Last but not least! my last shelf project will be with yeonji and bora! and we will discuss about Korean current wedding culture. Nowadays people got married late compare to the past. In the past women usually got married in the middle of 20s and usually for men in the beginning of 30s. So we want to discuss about 1. Why the wedding trend is changed compare to the past? 2. Do we need to get married? (Do you want to have a husband/wife?) 3. If you want to get married, when will be appropriate for you? 4. Discussing about "DINK(Double Income No Kids) / PINK(Poor Income No Kids) / DINPET(Double Income with Pet) / DEWK(Dual Employ With Kids)" It will be our last SHELF Project, but I hope we can do another hangout with controversial topic after the exam!! P.S) Sorry I misunderstand about the project! this one will be our panel discussion on hangout!

Shadowing - "The Power of Democracy"

If people can know how to pronounce the word correctly and follow the intonation, I think next step will be what speaker wants to emphasize in the sentence. Even though my pronunciation is not reached on the high-level, I tried to catch the moment that Obama tries to give accent on his words. What is more, I had some difficulties in finding the "pause". So whenever I repeated the video, I checked when he makes a pause.  <SCRIPT> If there is anyone out there...  ...who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible,... ...who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time,...  ...who still questions the power of our democracy,...  ...tonight is your answer.  It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches,...  ...in numbers this nation has never seen,...  ...by people who waited three hours and four hours,...  ...many for the first time in their lives,...  ...because they believed that this

<SCRIPT> 1) Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth, on this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. = 87년 전 우리의 선조들은 자유를 인식하고, 모든 사람이 평등하게 만들어 졌다는 주장에 헌신하여 새로운 나라를 이 대륙에 건국하셨습니다. 2) Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. 3) But in a larger sense, we can not dedicate - we can not consecrate - we can not hallow - this ground.
